Historical notice
Des constructions auraient été élevées à l'emplacement du hameau actuel dès le 12e siècle. L'ancien prieuré dépendait jusqu'à la Révolution de l'abbaye de Villeloin. Il s'agit d'un bâtiment rectangulaire à deux pignons. Sur la façade Est est accolée une tourelle d'escalier à cinq pans. Au premier étage, une pièce conserve quelques vestiges de peintures murales à motifs végétaux, du 16e ou 17e siècle.
