Historical notice
Cette église prieurale dépendant de l'abbaye de Notre-Dame d'Ahun, diocèse de Limoges, a été construite au 12e siècle. La charpente a été refaite en 1712 et bâtiment le rehaussé à cette époque. Une importante restauration a été effectuée en 1974. La porte latérale sud, du 15e siècle, serait un remploi provenant de Saint-Amand-Montrond.
