Historical notice

Cet édifice conserve vraisemblablement des vestiges préromans du 6e siècle. C'est un édifice rectangulaire, constitué d'une nef et d'un choeur carré du 12e siècle, sur cave. Les deux volumes sont séparés par une cloison. Les maçonneries anciennes du 11e siècle se composent de moellons réglés. La salle Est du second niveau a été ornée de fresques aujourd'hui presque effacées. Un groupe de cavaliers se devine, portant un oriflamme, ainsi qu'un chevalier armé au-dessus d'un écu armorié et sous une silhouette humaine très fruste.
