Historical notice
Prieuré fondé au 12e siècle par l'abbaye de Nieul-sur-l'Autize. La chapelle romane à nef unique et abside en hémicycle a été réparée au 18e siècle. Elle présente un grand intérêt archéologique du fait de la présence d'une crypte voûtée.
