La plus ancienne commanderie de Templiers en Poitou (fondée en 1130). Passe ensuite aux Hospitaliers, puis aux ordres de Rhodes et Malte. Eglise du 12e siècle, légèrement remaniée au 15e siècle ; traces de décor peint du 16e siècle.
