Historical notice
Truyes possédait une cure et un prieuré qui appartenaient à l'abbaye de Cormery. En 1477, ce prieuré fut réuni à celui de Vontes. La chapelle date du 12e siècle et a subi quelques transformations, surtout visibles sur la façade occidentale qui conserve la trace du pignon d'origine. La façade est flanquée au sud d'une tour carrée. La nef a également subi des transformations (percement d'ouvertures, appareillage recouvert d'un enduit). L'abside est de forme légèrment semi-circulaire.
