Historical notice
Détilly était une châtellenie relevant du roi. Le château fut pris et incendié en 1562 par le comte de Montgomery. Il fut reconstruit au début du 17e siècle. La chapelle, consacrée vers 1135, fut reconstruite au 15e siècle. Le pavillon carré qui accompagne le château au sud, fit probablement partie de l'édifice détruit en 1562, mais fut restauré lors de la reconstruction. La porte monumentale est composée d'une grande arcade en plein cintre, accostée de pilastres à chapiteaux ioniques, soutenant l'entablement avec édicule accosté d'ailerons. Les communs sont contemporains du château.
