Historical notice

D'origine gallo-romaine, le château est un ancien fief relevant de la baronnie de Preuilly, qui portait, au 13e siècle, le nom de Fons Balderici. L'édifice actuel a été entièrement reconstruit au 19e siècle et se présente comme un pavillon rectangulaire dont la construction fut achevée en 1830. Un petit bâtiment rompt l'ordonnance de la façade postérieure.
