Historical notice
La première église fut construite au 9e siècle par le duc d'Alluys, seigneur de Vaujours. Elle fut reconstruite en partie au 15e siècle en conservant le mur nord et le mur ouest. Vers le milieu du 16e siècle, devenue trop petite, l'église est agrandie et la charpente fut continuée dans le style du 15e siècle. L'un des vitraux semble dater du 14e siècle, et représente Sainte-Catherine et Sainte-Barbe. Quatre autres vitraux datent du 16e siècle.
