Historical notice
D'après la tradition, l'église primitive fut fondée par Saint-Martin à la fin du 4e siècle. Elle fut reconstruite au 10e siècle. Au 12e siècle, l'abside à cinq pans fut remplacée par une travée supportant un clocher. Le choeur a été reconstruit au 18e siècle. Un collatéral méridional fut ajouté à la nef au 19e siècle. Le mur nord de la nef est un vestige de l'église du 10e siècle. Le clocher octogonal mais fut arasé ou inachevé. Dans la nef, sur le parement du mur nord, subsistent des vestiges de peintures murales du 12e siècle.
