Historical notice
L'église dépendait de l'abbaye de Déols. L'édifice se compose d'une nef sans bas-côtés et d'un choeur de trois travées terminé par un chevet carré. La construction, datée du 12e siècle, pourrait être attribée aux moines de Cluny, fondateurs de l'abbaye de Déols. Au 15e siècle, le choeur a subi quelques remaniements qui paraissent n'avoir jamais été complètement achevés. La façade ouest de cette nef est très ornée. Des chapiteaux du 12e siècle subsistent à l'intérieur.
