Historical notice
Ancienne église paroissiale de la commune de Saint-Symphorien-les-Ponceaux, supprimée et réunie à celle d'Avrillé en 1817. L'édifice se compose d'une nef et d'un choeur carrés. La façade a été refaite au 12e siècle, et est percée d'une porte en plein cintre dont le rouleau est circonscrit par une archivolte moulurée de chevrons. Le mur de refend supporte un clocher pignon à deux arcades.
