Historical notice
La tour a été réédifiée sur la base d'un ancien moulin à vent et aménagée en appartement (acte notarié de 1766). Elle subsiste aujourd'hui dans le parc (en partie loti) du Clos Saint-Victor. Le château, construit dans les années 1890 pour le comte de Sabran-Pontevès, a remplacé l'ancienne maison forte de la Maucannière.
