Historical notice
Le prieuré fut fondé en 1060 par l'abbé de Saint-Mesmin d'Orléans. La chapelle fut paroissiale au 13e siècle. De l'édifice, en partie détruit, ne subsiste que la croisée du transept et le croisillon nord, accompagné d'une absidiole. Voûtée en cul de four, cette dernière est épaulée par des colonnes contreforts. Son unique fenêtre est circonscrite par une archivolte décorée de pointes de diamant. L'abside, qui a disparu et dont l'arrachement subsiste, a été remplacée au 15e ou 16e siècle par une petite absidiole barlongue.
