Historical notice
Au sud-ouest du cloître Saint-Martin, et incluse dans les maisons canoniales d'un couvent du 18e siècle, la chapelle fut construite aux 13e et 14e siècles, à la place d'un oratoire plus ancien. Cet édifice antérieur, probablement du 12e siècle, aurait succédé lui-même à un autre dont il est fait mention au 6e siècle. C'est un édifice rectangulaire des débuts du gothique, couvert d'une fausse voûte de plâtre en berceau brisé et divisé par des arcades en tiers-point. A hauteur de la première travée, le mur latéral nord était percé d'un porche en arc brisé à triple tore.
