Historical notice
L'église fut probablement bâtie à la fin du 12e siècle. La partie occidentale et la nef peuvent remonter à cette époque. Le choeur a dû être agrandi au 17e siècle, et le lanternon qui coiffe la tour-clocher ajouté. Située près du château, cette ancienne chapelle castrale remplaça peut-être l'église paroissiale primitive après sa démolition à la fin du 17e siècle.
