Historical notice
Ancienne chapelle du château médiéval, devenue église paroissiale dès 1216. A la fin du 15e siècle, et au cours du 16e, l'édifice est agrandi et reçoit une décoration dont il reste de rares traces. Dès 1750, la marquise de Pompadour, qui reçoit le domaine en cadeau de Louis XV, transforme l'église en y faisant ajouter une abside à cinq pans ainsi qu'une façade occidentale avec fronton.
