Historical notice
L'église correspond à la typologie mise en valeur dans le canton de Nogent-le-Roi : édifice à vaisseau unique, tour à larmiers rythmant les étages et tourelle accolée d'accès. Les décors architecturaux appartiennent à l'art gothique tardif. L'église a été construite, ou reconstruite, à la fin du 15e siècle grâce aux dons des familles de Trie et de Pillavoine. A l'est, le choeur est entouré, côté nord, d'une construction basse contournant l'abside semi-circulaire pour conduire à la sacristie. La tour clocher est couverte d'une coupole à quatre pans. La tourelle d'escalier qui la jouxte est hexagonale. Au sud, la chapelle ouvrant sur le choeur était celle des châtelains, construite au 19e siècle par la famille de Boquestant, et communiquant directement avec les communs du château.
