Historical notice
L'église appartenait primitivement au chapitre d'Orléans qui le vendit, au 11e siècle, à l'abbaye de Saint-Julien. Un prieuré lui fut ajouté, qui fut cédé un peu plus tard à l'abbaye de Beaulieu. L'édifice carré se compose d'une nef romane, primitivement unique, et de collatéraux faits de chapelles contigües datant, au sud, du 15e siècle, et au nord, du 16e siècle. Le chevet plat est percé de trois fenêtres datant de l'époque primitive. Du côté nord se trouve une tour carrée qui soutient le clocher. Une flèche octogonale se pose sur un étage intermédiaire à huit pans.
