Historical notice
L'église est un édifice roman non voûté. La nef avec bas-côtés, sans transept saillant, se termine par une abside semi-circulaire entourée d'un déambulatoire sur lequel donnent trois chapelles voûtées en cul de four. Les dernières travées des bas-côtés ont été remaniées au 16e siècle. Celle du nord a porté le clocher primitif, puis une voûte Renaissance avec voutains ornés en ronde-bosse des emblèmes des Evangélistes. Sur la première travée de la nef, porté sur quatre poteaux, s'élève un clocher flèche en bois du 17e siècle. La troisième travée du bas-côté sud s'ouvre par un portail sculpté du 12e siècle. Ce serait l'église romane à déambulatoire la plus ancienne d'Eure et Loir.
