Historical notice
La façade est percée d'un portail dont les archivoltes sont ornées de statuettes d'anges et de saints. Le tympan se termine par une plate-bande représentant en bas-relief uen Résurrection des morts. Le mur sud s'ouvre par une porte avec porche qui servait d'accès aux lépreux. Une autre porte donnait accès à la maison capitulaire. Selon la tradition, Saint-Martin étant venu à Levroux, détruisit le temple païen et guérit de la lèpre le seigneur local.
