Historical notice

Cette maison a été édifiée au début du 19e siècle, probablement entre 1830 et 1848, lors du plein essor du compagnonnage. La lucarne à lien gitard et lien croche formant tenaille, avec un assemblage à mi-bois, présente une grande simplicité. Les deux berceaux constitués possèdent des inscriptions et symboles compagnonniques dans leurs vides : U.V.G.T. indiquant le rite d'un compagnon du Devoir ou Soubise, et la maxime Dieu protège les arts.
