Historical notice
Abbaye fondée au 12e siècle par les Bénédictins. Du 12e siècle subsiste l'église, recouverte au 15e siècle par une charpente. L'abbaye adhère à la réforme mauriste : reconstruction des bâtiments conventuels et du cloître au 18e siècle (1743). Vendue comme bien national à la Révolution.
