Historical notice

L'étendue de l'abbaye de Beaumont-lès-Tours constituait une paroisse. De cette ancienne église, intégrée au début du 20e sècle à une maison, ne reste que la nef. Certains éléments, tels que les fenêtres, l'ancien arc du porche, prouvent que son origine peut être située au début du 12e, voire du 11e siècle. L'église fut reconstruite en 1451, à côté des bâtiments de l'abbaye.
