Historical notice
L'église actuelle a presque entièrement été reconstruite en 1542 sur des fondations gothiques. L'église gothique aurait été détruite en 1424 par les Anglais. Selon la légende, Saint-Lubin, évêque de Chartres, vint se reposer en ce lieu qui abritait un reclusoir habité par un moine. Une chapelle y aurait été bâtie vers la fin du 6e siècle.
