Historical notice

Construction du 18e siècle élevée à l'emplacement d'une maison acquise en 1769 par les ancêtres du général Bertrand. Les plans furent dressés par Martin Boucher, premier ingénieur du Roi. L'entrée monumentale ouvre sous un grand arc percé dans un mur écran qui continue la façade latérale de l'hôtel. Elle mène à la cour formée par le bâtiment principal et deux ailes en retour. Des constructions plus récentes ont allongé ces ailes. La façade sur jardin est animée par un avant-corps semi circulaire que forme le petit salon ovale. Cet avant-corps est couronné par une balustrade. A l'intérieur, le grand salon conserve des souvenirs de Napoléon Ier et du général Bertrand.
