Historical notice
Les restes des bâtiments abbatiaux sont englobés dans le collège et le tribunal ; l'église sert de magasin municipal. En grande partie romane, l'église a été augmentée au 15e siècle d'absidioles voûtées. La nef a disparu. La salle capitulaire du 15e siècle est voûtée sur croisée d'ogive et surmontée du dortoir à charpente lambrissée. Des sondages dans les murs pourraient faire apparaître sa façade sur le cloître détruit. Attenante à la salle capitulaire, une chapelle du 15e siècle est intérieurement défigurée. A côté, un escalier en bois à rampe à pilastres de bois du 17e siècle, donnait accès au dortoir. Sur la quatrième face du cloître s'élève un vaste bâtiment des 13e et 15e siècles sur celliers voûtés. Le cloître a totalement disparu pour faire place à la cour des prisons.
