Ancien prieuré de Bénédictines de la Trinité, racheté par Jacques-Charles Valentin, collectionneur d'art, en 1809. Il le transforme en villa à l'italienne, aménagée par Joseph Gautret et Frédéric Lemot entre 1810 et 1827. Pavillon des Rochers édifié en 1819.
